Back in the day when Great Britain really did build great aircraft, even the Americans loved the Vulcan and i can remember a video some years ago where the Vulcans simulated attacks on the USA against the Strategic Air Command and faired pretty well over US Cities.

The one thing i do question in my 40 something years on this planet is that the Soviets/Russians still send updated versions of the TU95 to test our QRA, how much money have NATO spent to intercept the same platform over the last 70 years, at the end of the day the Long Range Bomber is all but a stand off deliery platform so in an all out nuclear conflict it is bascially a logisitcal platform delivering its passengers much the same as an SSBN would be.
