I had roughly the same experience Sgt Hotcliff. I for myself tried to master the simple Byto ´mini campaign´.
Byto orders you to recon an area with 3 MBT (Leo 1´s), the following missions present an attack and a subsequent counterattack. You start with relatively few forces, but if your resources get depleted you may call in reinforcements. Relatively easy, but challenging nonetheless.
SBPpe can be very frustrating at times......
