Hi prowler3 mate.

Have you renamed the dll file/s as per the link I provided? This is such an easy fix and I'm almost certain this is the problem. I use Windows 7 myself. Here's the instructions again:

"1) If you're x64 OS, go to windows\syswow64\ and rename gameux.dll to something without .dll extension
2) If you're x86 OS, go to windows\system32\ and rename gameux.dll to something without .dll extension
In both cases you'll have to take ownership and add file permissions".

For example, rename gameux.dll to gameux.txt. This disables the Microsoft Games Explorer application and stops it interfering with SH3.

Another possible fix that should work which I used to use before learning the above, is simply to rename SH3.exe to SH31.exe. Has no detrimental effect on the program, though it may if you use SH3 Commander.

Keep persisting mate. I am sure the problem will be resolved.
