Well, the game is not finished. Actually, it's not even beta. This is a pre-beta, beta state will only be reached when it goes into Early Access. So this is already pretty impressive. I have seen quite a few pre-betas so far and this one is astonishingly well done. No major crashes, so far only one game breaking bug, basic mission system is working and the devs patch the game every 1-3 days.
I voluntarily chose to not play the game until now because directly after the Kickstarter backer pre-beta launched I wasn't able to complete the tutorial and got extremely frustrated. Instead I waited and it has become so much better. Just saying...but I participated in the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 betas...ALL betas, including the closed campaign & closed MP betas. Their tutorial wasn't properly running until 2 weeks before release. So I am pretty happy with UBOAT so far. xD
