Can you remember the message from BDU? Will they actually tell you to join the wolfpack or the convoy?
What I remember is: There is a bug when you signal a convoy because the 3-number convoy course you transmit can be way different from the real number and it will mislead all wolfpacks joining you - unless one of them can join you, in which case the others will follow. Your first contact report needs to be mostly accurate...by chance.

Yeah, I remember how exciting that was, to see the little u-boat icons on the map, flitting around, challenging the escorts.
