This is a real periscope taken from 'TCG ULUÇ ALİ REİS' submarine, joined Turkish Naval Forces in 1971 under the name of USS THORNBACK after serving for US Navy between 1944-1979. If you want to use this periscope like me, visit Military Marine Museum in Çanakkale/TURKEY. You can also visit Rahmi Koç Museum in İstanbul/TURKEY if you want to see inside of TCG ULUÇ ALİ REİS submarine.
My home is very close to this naval museum. I visit this museum regularly to use this periscope. You can see many ships en route through Dardanelles thank to this periscope (free of charge). I am trying to calculate their range, speed and AOB. Rohr eins los!
