The solution is likely this: Move the game files - the entire game folder - to any non-protected area, even on a stick if you want, and change the settings in Dosbox accordingly if you use the DOS version, or just make a shortcut to your desktop if you use the Windows version of the game (CAOD).
And: if you don't want to repeat this for any sort of other program in Win10, I recommend you to adjust your computer privileges on Win10 so you can act as administrator. I think you can change this in your account settings in your OS, but I'm not sure about this. Here is a helpful link:
