Trying to play SH4 modded out with FotRS-U-EN, & playing as a Kaleun, is going to have issues.
FotRS-U-EN, is straight up, for going out on patrols, as a U. S. skipper.
If you want to do careers, as a Kaleun, then I'd strongly suggest going with a fresh, separate installation of SH4 & modding it with:
Operation Monsun: Dark Waters, instead...
