d@rk51d3 mentions.. the ships I noticed that shot the flares were still at level ... no pitch to the stern or bow.... It might have been they tried to shoot a flare in the middle of an explosion and the consussion of it threw the flare off course and made it go sideways instead ... there were lots of after explosions which are GREAT
The planes were about 100 meters above the water when they shot theirs .... and pretty close to my boat when they went down ......
