The nav tools are a bit cumbersome.

I found the easiest tools to use are the X and the line tool. Don't really need anything else.

I wish it was possible to free-draw with a pencil rather than needing to type.

Is there a fixed ruler and compass like reality? I had a nav mod for SH3 that did exactly this. It was awesome. I could measure and draw as if using actual plotting instruments.
