Started a career with the 7th Flotilla in 1943, U-boat starts in the Bay of Guinea!
I first tried it starting the career in January using sh3 commander 3.13 which I believe is the latest version. I removed commander and re-installed the mod, same thing happens when starting with the default April start.
This was on a clean install of the game & 1.4b patch.

I experienced this problem too... there will surely be a hotfix for this in a few days.. until then please start from brest, la rochelle or lorient
