No I have a cd version with the UBoat addon.
That's why I struggle to understand your crashing.
I suggest returning to v1 and gradually transfering the files from v1.11 across until you find the problem file. I did notice that .sim file in submarines type 7c was different, but it all works here.
I had a break through on mission building this week that works very well.
