That would depend on where they are getting their facts from. The editors may not lie but they can have an editorial bias.

The only things that turned out to be true were things that were already public knowledge. Misstep is being kind. It was a blatant attempt to interfere with an election campaign and that interference carried over and had an effect on Trump's administration.
