I know I've been running silent for months now, and this is a very, VERY old thread, but I've recently fallen in love with this series after buying the new book on USS
Kidd and scored a set of nine first-edition "Anatomies" (along with a rareish book on the Essex class") on eBay, and I'm seriously thinking about writing some more reviews in the next few weeks. So watch this space!
