I grew up in Little League and played high school ball. My dad was a rabid New York Yankees fan; and my best buddy and Spring season rugby teammate in college played
college catcher and then coached bigtime college women's baseball... just retired after 19 years; preceded by trying to work up to the majors in '70's Texas AAA farmteam baseball!!?? I just took in a local Napa Cricket game at the fairgrounds on Saturday-much more polite.
