I've recently recovered my Win 10 computer from a major failure, and took the opportunity to reinstall DC from an old image of the hard drive. I've been enjoying getting back into it after having uninstalled it several years ago. I'm currently playing the single mission to escort Convoy ON.67 to Halifax, NS. When I right click on an escorting destroyer on the CIC map, one of the options in the pop-up menu is "Set guide". I don't recall ever knowing exactly what this does. Can anyone enlighten me?
