The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth was 2 Billion degrees kelvin
That's about 3.6 billion degrees F!

As a comparison, the interior of our sun is a relatively cool 15 million degrees K.

The strangest part is that the scientist still don't know how those temperatures were reached.
