More info:
- asdic worked up to and including 20 knots.
- he never mentions hydrophone use. Not once. Always and only asdic in his sub search descriptions.
- all versions of asdic needed an experienced operator to tell the difference between a school of fish and a sub as it picked up the former just as easily as the latter.
