I have since found a 3.5 inch floppy version woot.
I have been playing Silent Service 1 and 2 more since then, both of those are really great,
Silent Service 1 though is sadly not as pretty and has terrible sound on the dos version. The amiga version of it is much better i nthis regard.
Sub Battle Simulator though i found alot easier and the missions more varied as well as their being aircraft to watch out for also. I was trying to catch up with an aircraft carrier and its escorts in one case through out the night, riding on the surface of course in the distance. Once daylight came though the carrier sent out its planes to attack me while i was still surface side, clearly group had not forgotten i was behind them following my first attempt to attack them. I like this little kinds of things and i dont i seem them in Silent Service
