We are definitly on the same page and I agree with your points.
Most of your wishes are on my todo list.

I am interested in spotting targets, rangefinding and spotting splashes, so I want that to be a part of the game. That's one of the reasons why the 3d graphics has some importance in Battleship Command.

But right now I am satisfied with the graphics and focusing 100% on gameplay.
