Indeed. They blow up quite nicely when loaded with fuel. Usually only requires one torpedo to set them off, but per doctrine fire a spread in case loaded with fuel (difficult to sink then) or to account for speed course change etc during torpedo run.

Some loaded convoys I use to could get 3 plus ships for 1 torp, course only the one you hit count
