What version/mods are you running?
What range does that 6% add up to? maybe close to 800, refuel at midway.
if it's not enough, I read on a post somewhere, that you could submerge run on batteries till you get there, even if says you have 0 battery. I don't know if that's true, might be a game glitch, and never had to try it.
for most boats, your most fuel efficient speed is about 10 knots.
