I've spent much of the day with the Se5. It's the first time I've really played it since the last patch. It's nice, dives like a bird and climbs very nicely. The horrible 'glass engine' seems to be gone but it's going to be hard learning to fight in it all over again; I've never been much of a boom n zoom pilot and thats what the Se5 seems to excel at now.
Also been messing about with the EMB graphics patch that came out a few weeks ago. Looks like it might be quite interesting but I've only run it with it's default settings so far. Lot of tweaking to get it where I want it. Initial testing bodes well, though.
