Hi all sub seaman
As my name implies I was in the Navy. I was an MR ( machinery repairman ) aboard the USS Orion which was a Fulton-class submarine tender ship.
She was commissioned 30 September 1943 and had a crew of 1,300.

I played Aces of the Deep in the early 1990's. And now I recently got interested in playing a Sub Sim game again. I decided on SH3 to be my choice.
I have been playing it in it's Vanilla format for 2 months, and I have even used the mission editor to create my own single player mission.
I think I'm ready to get more out of the game by using mods. But I have absolutely no experience with installing & configuring mods. So I got question. I'v got SH3 installed on a Pentium 4 PC using Windows XP. My question is, what is the chance that installing GWX 3.0 will change my systems files and settings so much that the other games won't run anymore? or ruin the great performance the PC has right now?
