I dont use u boats, I am on 1.4 and have no intention of going to 1.5.
1.4 had, apart from once, worked fine on all vers of windows. I seem to recall something in properties and box ticking. But its not loaded at present so unsure.
Steam have offered me some suggestions, but need to check that out first, once reinstalled.
