What a great resource! The work that went into this obvious. I opened the DDS files in GIMP without any problem. I haven't tried Blender yet. I'm thinking of making my own physical reference binder. Having accurate dimensions makes a big difference!!

An addendum to my previous post:

Just out of curiosity, I went to the maritime.org site to check the ship dimensions of the silhouettes in the ONI Recognition Manuals. By 1943, ONI was producing very accurate material. The silhouettes are right on the money both visually and dimension. FYI...
