Me again... with another noobie question, my apologies.

I'm having a hard time identifying ships using Sjizzle's beautiful charts. I tried Trevally's RAOBF tutorial which obviously has a Hog Islander type A as a target. Now I *think* I identified the Freighter type 10 in Sjizzle's charts as the Hog Islander (not sure though), but then neither the mast height nor the ship length correspond to the values given in the tutorial (mast height supposed to be 28.4 meters, wheras in the recognition chart it's listed as 21 meters)? In fact, I checked all charts 1a through 3b several times and couldn't find any ship resembling the Hog Islander with the approximate height and length data given in the tutorial. I know I must be missing something, but cannot quite figure out what?
Is there any systematic behind the grouping of the ships in Sjizzle's charts?
