8/25/1939 Norwegian Sea, Point Red 4, 25th day at sea

Schiff 35 Made her way south during the passage she sighted 2 British uboats which passed without incident. She arrived at Point Red 4 and at 06:40 Admiral Graf Spee came into view and after exchanging recognition signals the transfer of 2 officers, 5 Feldwebels, and 10 ratings as well as some supplies, charts, and equipment not available at the time of our departure. By 10:45 the transfer was complete and the crew of Schiff 35 wished the Graf Spee, who set course for the South Atlantic, a safe voyage. We will linger in the Norwegian Sea until further notice.
