I don't really want to see shots like that personally, it seems a bit like 'rubber necking' at a car crash.
PS, several of those pictures, such as the one from Jane's Fighting Aircraft of WW1 with the Albatross, are not actual photographs, but photo-montages. Genuine WW1 aerial action shots are extremely rare and usually very blurred, owing to the shutter and film speeds being too long and slow.
