SUBSIM Radio Room Forums - View Single Post - Thinking of picking up one of the Silent Hunter games, any suggestions?

Basically title. I picked up and played U-boat, but atm it seems, really easy (even with mods like manual TDC) and based of devBlogs will have less content. I watch wolfpack345, which is mostly Silent Hunter III game play. I see there are newer installments but based on the steam reviews it seems SH4 and SH5 don't want to run without some modification. SH3, based on steam reviews, doesn't seem to have that issue however. So I am conflicted on which installment of the game I should get. I perused the this sub to see if there was a fix, but at the time of posting the reddit search bar is down, so if there was a post about how to fix I couldn't find it.
