Try not sink neutral ships for 2 reasons:

1.- you lose renown for every neutral ship you sink.
2.- If you sink a neutral ship, you become a foe for the next 24 hours and if you are spotted, you will be fired upon. Don't try to sink neutrals or friendly, specially near neutral ports...
