I fI were you I would install or enable SP1.4 with the unoff english language patch and other mods like for textures, sound,compass, free cam etc.See if you're having the same problem.

I myself went through all the mods 1.1, 1.2 etc.I am not sure how going straight to beta 1.5 on a fresh installation works.

Once you're satisfied SP 1.4 works without a glitch then enable beta 1.5.

When I said corrupt I guess I meant it has a glitch or bug even though the game starts and seems to work.

Do you ahve another pc or laptop where you could make another installtion with 1.4 and test?
