Sorry, I should post the screenshot with the group in the background. There are at least one leading destroyer and one guarding the rear. I haven't seen the right side of the convoy. Queen Elizabeth is escorting the left side where I approached the group from. And I have also seen about twenty merchant ships (there might be more): British, Greek, etc. It seems like they are traveling from the Mediterranean. According to my historical research, it could be HMS Barham or HMS Malaya.

I am just surprised because in the second patrol of a career which I stopped (when I found out about Fifi compilation) I just sunk County Class heavy cruiser escorting/accompanying the convoy. It was my first warship sunk in any Silent Hunter. So event to remember or cherish, I guess. I couldn't find any capital ships in SH3 so far. Maybe because I wasn't actively looking for them. I wasn't in Operation Monsun either. I just seem to have more luck.

My problem is it is 14 or 16 September 1939 in this first patrol. One month before Prien sunk HMS Royal Oak. And according to in-game message system Hitler, OKM and BdU agree that U-Boats should not attack British capital ships because sinking it might embarrass England and break possible peace talks. But Queen Elizabeth is three times heavier than County Class HC. I don't think I want to pass on it. Also considering that I do not obey orders on a regular basis in real life why my U-Boat captain should be different, right? What could possibly go wrong for him after sinking Queen Elizabeth?

British are quite good at embarrassing themselves (vide: Brexit) so why not help them?
And they will not sign a peace anyway.
