Given that you
could in fact buy torpedoes and missiles for these things, why exactly are war subs legal for ownership? I watched a History Channel program about this drug dealer in Florida (sponsored coke and heroine) who asked the Russians for a private submarine, and the fool says to him
"You want this with or without missiles?"
He got a CREW (a TRAINED crew) to bring the sub to the United States, and they stayed to manage the boat until he (the dealer) was busted for possession of illegal substances.
