Hi all i have installed RFB for the first time and it looks great.................
i have all the settings maxed out although i'm still not convinced on the post filter option in the game menu...
Yes, PPF works in game. I turned mine back on and Krillers work looks great with it turned on. The grainy effect is removed but the shading effect is still present.

I heard this is soposed to work well with Krillers work.....PE

I have played TMO ever since it was made and i am running RSRDC with 1.5 so now that i have chosen RFB i have some Qs

1.eye candy wise what of the 2 mods can offer the best or do they both offer the same awesome details.....

2.Sound wise i havent played much yet was RFB worked on with new sounds as TMO was....

3.with TMO having no real future support at the moment will RFB go from strength to strength.......are the things the team seeks not just realism but great or fun game play as well.....
RFB is a mix of TMO created eyecandy and of course RFB eyecandy. PE4 is it's own eyecandy which you already know. You get the best of all in one package.

these Qs are just coming from a nervous gammer trying somthing new.....
Both are pretty much the same. TMO I believe had a higher percentage of nastier warships. RFB has a good mix so you really do not know what you will get it you attract attention to yourself. Surfacing against armed merchants is not a good idea. Check the deck for guns before you do. The sub damage mod in RFB is far and above what anyone has done. DM for vessels has been re-worked extensively.

Are ther any other mod add ons that you can advise as my new PC can take it all.....but i want stabiltiy above all else...hehehe who does'nt...
Not that I'm aware of. RFB is still evolving. So, watch this space.

thanks for some insight guy will look forward to getting some feed back.
You're welcome. Now for some more realistic game play go check out the Dick O'kane method of attack and the constant bearing attack found in the SH4 general forums. You will find yourself not needing to lock every target in your TBT/scope for a successful attack run.

PS. get the RFB manual download.
