here is a quick fix for you, download vers. 3.3 here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=133365

And copy the install / data / env / envatl.dat to your sh4/data/env it should give you a less vivid blue water colour, but may destroy the nice sunsets in PE4 :hmm:
