Agree with you there! Some countries will feel it more than others, and some jobs sectors will be at greater risk than some. Now I can see another good reason for me becoming a train driver! 
They reckon that unemployment will hit 5% within the next year or two here in Australia. The mining industry will be the canary in the coal mine here (no pun intended!) If they start laying off people and closing mines, there will be a rapid flow on to the rest of the country.  |
maybe the navy can get some of their engineers back!
