Oh, I agree. I just thought it was funny that when I was a boy someone couldn't go certain places if he wasn't 'pure white', and now people are trying to dismiss Obama as the first black president by saying "well, he's not all black, you know..." |
Yeah I figured that. We have come a long way haven't we?
I just hope that we can begin to put all this racial tension behind us now and stop being "white-Americans" or "black-Americans" or (insert race or foreign nationality of choice)-Americans, and just be "Americans".
