As far as I know it's a stock bug and impossible or very hard to fix with mods, but I haven't tried to move the gun in RFB so I'm not sure. Stock or RFB, the lost slots can be returned with a simple edit. See this thread for instructions. |
I could be WAAY off here, but I seem to be able to move my gun, AFTER the first conning tower upgrade. Any patrol started after Oct of 42 will have the conning upgrade. I just started my new patrol and don't have the renown to move it yet, but I will play around with it at the conclusion of my patrol. Just save before you move it, just to be on the safe side.
I believe that most boats had the deck gun on the aft deck before a certain date, perhaps none were moved before the conning upgrades began??
