Be careful of the ram you buy. See what kind of ram your motherboard needs (type and frequency). Don't get to cheap. Two sticks of 1 gb is good.
Regarding your budget, it will be good to know where are you from, because I am from Europe in Romania and here the prices are in euros and are way higher than in USA, Canada, or asian markets.
