Yes it did, however that particular ship (the one I didnt fire at) had no visiable damage, it wasnt on fire... she just blew up on her own. I was in an XB, I had already hit one ship behind me and there was still one more eel in the rear torp room (I checked it myself

The CTD's did happen when I was zoomed out and using TC yes.
Now this next part is ironic, considering I didnt know there was other AI german subs & wolfpacks cruising around, let alone ever seen any. I started a new game last night in a VII. (I prefer the VII's over the IX's...) Anyway I cruising west of the Bay of Biscay my watchman calls down, sub spotted at 50 degree's sir... Sure enough there was a VII off my starboard, so I cruised up beside him to say hello... it was Thompson, Thompsonnnnn!...
I just thought it was pretty funny, considering the above posts, Ive never seen another AI sub in 3+ months of playing and it happens just after all this confusion on my part.
