Stealth Attack
Four days prior to the U.S. elections, the President decides to solve the Iranian nuclear issue once and for all and authorizes an attack by stealth bombers and fighter bombers based in Diego Garcia and Al Udeid. If the efforts fail, U.S. assets based in the region may be permitted conventional strikes.
Iran, however, obtained the news about this top secret information days in advance and managed to secure the help of Russia in defending her territory. Moscow agreed to temporarily base three of her most advanced fighter squadrons in Central Iran and, for the exorbitant price of USD 1 billion, hinted that a sophisticated counter-strike may be a realistic possibility.
The Iranian military is on full alert and prepares for pre-emptive strikes against military and civilian targets on the Arabian Peninsula - and in the Near East.
