I don't think maps are randomly generated, it's too detailed for that, but the idea seems good.

Master of Magic was mentioned many times, it is not supposed to be MoM but close.

Definitely the visuals look different. Me thinks they are a bit psychedelic and could be a bit coarser. It looks like Cell Shading, but it was also said that it's not final and lighting is not in, and I definitely think sys req will be low, which is a good thing, even if you have fast PC (everything is so much more fluid and responsive in that case).

What else can be said than it's a stardock product? And they obviously put a lot of thought in the gameplay so you might want look out for this one.
