Maybe, maybe not. 7 years of "War on Terror" and the terrorists are still alive. They just dont have to plan big attacks to get lot of westerns killed, as they can just leave their home, walk to the nearest US checkpoint 500m away and blow themselves up.
PS. Just to end my curiosity, wasnt the WTC bombing in '93? Or was there two?
