I think that McCain picking Palin is what America is all about. Here you have an experienced Senator and War Hero picking an unknown and inexperienced local politician as his VP running mate.
The voters, or rather the Electoral College as we live in a Republic and not a Democracy, will decide if it comes to pass. She worries me less than Dan Quale did.
