Bit of an update on last nights 'missions'. No screenshots because they're on the other computer

The Lolwaffles set forth with Hunter, Task Force, Kratos and Oberon in their midst to capture Stalingrad. The fact that the frontline is miles from Stalingrad and we have 109F-2s vs IL2s, P39Ds and the cream of the Soviet airforce, did not do much for morale.
Neither did the Soviet secret weapon.

This new secret weapon hit Oberon and Kratos shortly after they took off, turning their world into a 5fps nightmare, neither of which had experienced such slideshow behaviour. The squadron immediately returned to base and grounded while Squadron leader Hunter attempted to find the cause. After cursing his Soviet spy of a brother who had left wi-fi and the webcam on and disabling both, the lolwaffles tried again, and again the LaG gun shot Kratos and Oberon.
Could it be that the Lolwaffles had met their match in Soviet weaponry?
To find out, the Lolwaffles were transfered to a free-for-all dogfight area where any aircraft went. Itching to get revenge on Taskforce for comments made earlier, Hunter went for the superpower option in some random small Soviet biplane, while the rest of the group went for Spitfires.
Taskforce did not know what hit him, after a twist and a turn at low level, he lost both wings and went down in flames. Oberon, who was watching it all from a thousand feet up, attempted to locate and dive on Hunter, but Hunter made it to a nearby base before Oberon could spot him. He attempted a strafing run but failed.
Then Hunter went for the Tempest, "Uh oh" thought Oberon and he figured that his only chance would be to get Hunter before he could climb high enough to be a proper threat. He full-throttled to the nearby airbase (as map tags were on) and found Hunter climbing after take-off, giving Hunter enough time to get to about five-hundred feet, Oberon opened fire, and in his first pass took the engine, and in his second made Hunter bail out.

Hunter: "I'm going to get you for that!"

Hunter then respawned further away to give himself a chance to climb, and Oberon curved north to where he saw Taskforce heading for Kratos. He dived on Taskforce but screwed it up when he dived at the wrong angle and wound up in front of Taskforce rather than behind. Not the place he wanted to be really, and a swift dodging session followed, with Taskforce doggedly in pursuit, when Hunter showed up and with one swift move, deprived Oberon of a wing, surprising him so much that instead of hitting CTRL to teamspeak, he accidentally Alt-Tabbed himself out of IL2
As Oberon fixed himself back in his seat, vowing revenge in an Me262 (yeah, he can see where that's going...) Hunter and Taskforce duelled, with a surprise outcome, Taskforce in his P40 smashed Hunters port wing and sent him down in flames. Speaking of flames, plenty were about in Oberons base as he continually combusted the 262. First exploding on take-off, and then catching fire on engine start-up. The usual business
Eventually he gave up and switched to a late model Hurricane, interested to see just how long he'd last, he was heading back towards the center of the map when the call came through that the Lolwaffles were being transfered back to Stalingrad.
By this time, Berlin had put a word through to the metrological control room that clouds were forbidden, hoping that the lack of clouds would confuse the Soviet LaG gun, but it was not to be. Everywhere the Lolwaffles went, the LaG gun followed, Moscow, Stalingrad, the only place they were safe was in the free-for-all site. Hunter was indeed perplexed by this powerful weapon, and is still looking into a way to defeat it.

Stalin: Comrades, zis is excellant news! Now tell me...can zis gun be used on our dreaded nemesis...the bridge?
