Trouble is that a
Nelson class can do 23kts.....
They wouldn't bother firing the main armament: has 3 twin mounted 6" guns each side, so 6x6" vs your 1x3.5".
Also had a 24.5" torpedo tube submerged on each side, so you
might face a torpedo coming back at you....
ANY hit from a shell of that calibre (6") would almost certainly leave you unable to submerge, assuming it didn't sink you outright.
As for a 16", one landing within 100m would pobably cause you som MAJOR issues!!!
