I doubt you hit land, unless you were going in reverse! Could have been a mine or a ship, money is on a ship.

I was steaming along off the bottom of Ireland it similar weather conditions (Heavy seas, fog, rain,and so on) when I get the XO screaming we are under attack! A black swan comes steaming out of the fog with all guns blazing straight towarrd me! I crash dive, while taking damage. Just get below 20 meters when he off loads a major can of woop ass on me. Needless to say that all she wrote!
