Are you using any mods at all?

Try this:

Start a game (any War Patrol or Quick Mission).
Go to the Torpedoes Station.
Click on any torpedo.
Post what you see in the ON BOAT window at the bottom.

Some players get more information than others ... not sure if this is an indication of incompatability between versions of the 1.5 patch but it could be.
