You've got broadband???? Here in Australia the speed for broadband is slower than the rest of the developed world due to the sparse population and great distances (alot like Canada), but our major telco, Telstra, has a network that is based apon two tin cans and some string!
ONe of it's rivals, Optus, had to remove a plan that it had due to so many signing up to it that it's 3G network became so overloaded that people couldn't get a connection, and when they did they had speeds that looked like the speed of the early internet!
